Gemstone Farm is a small hobby kennel and farm located in Alton, Maine. We raise Australian Shepherds and Foundation Quarter Horses. In our breeding program, we place strong emphasis on versatility. A good animal is a balance of beauty, brains, talent, soundness, and athletic ability. We compete with our dogs in conformation and obedience. We also enjoy practicing agility and hope to begin competing soon. Our riding discipline is primarily western and we use natural horsemanship methods.
