Twister is and always will be my little girl. No matter that at 15.3 hands she is the biggest horse I own. I have owned her since she was a weanling and she is the first horse that I have done every bit of training on from the ground up. As a two year old we took young horse training and reining classes at Oregon State University. When she turned three we took advanced reining and started taking some lessons in reining. She is not quite motivated enough to get a big stop out of her but she LOVES to turn around. I have had her on cows a few times and she really likes to follow them around, we are going to try our hand at team penning this summer. She enjoys going to the beach and is a magnificant trail horse. She is slow and steady but can really beat feet when you ask for it. I brought her to drill team practice a few times, and she could not care less about all the other horses running next to her. She's been on many camping trips to the mountains and beaches of Oregon. I've even done a bit of dressage with her, and she has a really nice extended trot. Her easy going temperament makes her a wonderful lesson horse.
