Horses are trained by me, Dawn Kirby.
I specialize in starting young horses under saddle. A lot of time is spent on ground work before a saddle is even introduced. I refuse to push a horse into something they are not physically or mentally ready for. Training programs are adjusted according to the individuals needs. I believe groundwork is essential and my program utilizes round penning and lunging, as well as many other groundwork exercise. If you are looking for 'fast results' I am not the trainer for you. However, if you are wanting a calm, willing and confident horse who will be able to go on to any discipline you choose, I can help!
I also work with older horses that are in need of a tune up. The trick to solving any problem is to discover the source and go from there.
